Terms and Conditions

  1. All monies due are to be paid in full 14 days before the event. Failure to pay within this timescale will result in the equipment being offered to other interested parties.
  2. Deposits paid will be returned after the equipment has been inspected by EX-TRA Hire, and found to be clean and in good condition. Any repairs due to damage caused while in the customers possession will be deducted from the deposit. Should the damage be more than the deposit, then the hirer will be invoiced for this and agree to pay the difference. No claims against a third party who the hirer claims to have been responsible for the damage will be accepted by EX-TRA Hire. It is the responsibility of the hirer to pursue the third party for remuneration. Cleaning of the unit if returned in a dirty or untidy state will be as follows: Light Cleaning- Hoovering and general tidy up not involving deep clean processes £25. Mid-Cleaning- deep cleaning to remove staining and dirt using chemical or steam or to re-fix fixtures and/or fittings £50. Heavy Cleaning will depend on the extent and nature of the soiling, and will be charged accordingly.
  3. The set-up of the equipment will be by agreement with the hirer prior to the event. In any case, the hirer must agree to a responsible person being there to represent him and to sign off the equipment on arrival. This person will also be responsible (on the hirers behalf) for the overnight storing of the equipment. They will undergo a short but comprehensive induction course on how to leave the equipment at the end of the day to provide security for the hirers goods left overnight, and to prevent wind/rain damage to the unit while unattended. This person (or another) must also remain with the equipment after the event until the equipment is collected, and to witness appraisal of the equipment by EX-TRA Hire. If collection of the equipment is the day preceding the event, then this person will need to be able to make sure the equipment is left in a safe condition until the next day.
  4. At no time is it permissible to have a naked flame in, or adjacent to the trailer. No gas rings, barbecues or similar are to be used. Flammable and explosive materials such as gas are strictly forbidden. Failure to adhere to this condition will mean immediate forfeiture of any deposit. This rule is to comply with Health and Safety Guidelines and also Insurance conditions. It may well also violate the conditions of the Show/Event that you are attending and could lead to you being immediately expelled from the venue.
